In Javanese they're known as kendang; to us they are known as drums. They are our timekeeper, conductor and guide, all rolled into one. Without them we'd be lost. In the tradition-be-damned atmosphere of Monkey C the drummer does as he pleases, be it a rock and roll beat, a rumba rhythm or anything in between. So long as he keeps us entertained and on time, that's all that matters.
